The technology being developed can be used to implement a number of finishing operations, including polishing parts obtained by 3D printing for subsequent metallization. The basis for the study is the ITEM method, in which processing is carried out with time-controlled release of combustion products from the working chamber. The advantage of the method is the precise dosing of the heat flux and the ability to process parts of arbitrary geometric shapes, including those with internal channels and cavities. Unlike the basic version of the method, the study plans to use hydrogen fuel mixtures with a pressure lower than atmospheric and hydrogen supply from the electrolyzer. At the current stage, numerical models of technological processes ITEM for processing thermoplastic parts and working processes in the equipment for implementing the proposed method - generation of a hydrogen-air mixture, combustion taking into account heat exchange, and the release of combustion products have been developed.
