Forced migration of the population of Ukraine: patterns and consequences for the development of the human potential of Ukraine. The object of the study is the processes of forced migration of the population of Ukraine. The subject of the study is the theoretical and methodological principles and applied mechanisms for managing external forced migration of the population and the development of the human potential of Ukraine. The purpose of the scientific work is to substantiate the scientific and methodological principles of studying external forced migration of the population in the conditions of the worsening security situation in Ukraine, to assess the consequences of population migration for the development of human potential and to formulate proposals for the preservation and effective use of human potential during the period of post-war reconstruction of Ukraine. In the process of the study, the conceptual and terminological apparatus was deepened and approaches to determining the essence of forced migration were generalized. Specific signs and patterns of forced migration were determined. The theoretical and legal principles of the policy of temporary protection of forced migrants in the EU countries are revealed. The volumes and structural and qualitative parameters of forced migration of the population of Ukraine abroad are monitored, which allowed forming a socio-demographic portrait of a forced migrant from Ukraine. The socio-demographic characteristics of forced migrants from Ukraine in Germany and Poland are summarized. Specific features in the sex-age and economic-territorial distribution are identified. The author's approach to simulation modeling of demographic losses of Ukraine is developed and tested, which allowed determining the level of deformation of the sex-age and labor resource structure of the population as a result of forced migration.
