Existing and new institutional measures for the ecological and economic development of villages have been improved and proposed, aimed at improving the socio-economic and infrastructural situation on the basis of strengthening the role of local self-government, introducing effective mechanisms for coordination and cooperation between state and local authorities, rural communities and public organizations. A comprehensive approach to the formation of mechanisms for ensuring the management of the ecological and economic development of rural areas has been proposed, where the key measures should be the development of comprehensive rural development programs, both on the basis of a multi-sectoral approach to the restoration of the rural economy, infrastructure and social services, and the coherence of the developed programs and development plans related to social, economic and ecological development and aimed at increasing the level of competitiveness, development of natural resource potential and human resources of territories. to determine a list of main directions of development of rural areas, which include: implementation of systematic modernization of legislative acts and mechanisms for ensuring compliance with the rules and norms established by these acts; ensuring economic growth based on the formation of a favorable investment climate and support for rural business entities that carry out innovative activities; increasing attention to the development of human potential; eliminating disparities in territorial development; improving the management of state and territorial property.
