Objective: to identify measures to promote full, productive, freely chosen employment and decent work in compliance with the fundamental principles and rights to work, international labor standards in the context of post-war reconstruction and European integration of Ukraine. Methods: formal legal, hermeneutical analysis, comparative legal. Results: (1) the author formulated the thesis on the need to ensure a real balance of rights and interests of the parties to social and labor relations in the context of legislative reform; (2) the interim results of the study were tested at international scientific and practical conferences; (3) 4 conference abstracts were published, and 4 conference abstracts were submitted for publication. Novelty: the peculiarities of reforming labor legislation in the context of introducing restrictions on labor rights, liberalization of legislation and European integration in terms of ensuring a balance of interests of the parties to social and labor relations are determined. Implementation: the results can be used in further scientific research, drafting of regulatory legal acts, teaching of private law disciplines.
