The research method is analytical (analysis of literature sources and the Internet). The research analyzed national and international regulations, normative documents and publications in the field of civil protection on the design, construction and reconstruction of civil protection facilities, in particular on the functioning of a reliable ventilation and filter ventilation system, determined the inconsistency of some requirements and provisions of DSTU 9077:2021 with the law and scientifically substantiated the composition and content of the changes. As a result of the research work, the following were clarified: general technical requirements and test methods for air purification equipment intended for use in civil defense facilities in operation and those under design; requirements for product safety, handling, operation, and the application of test methods. Draft Amendment 1 to DSTU 9077:2021 has been developed, which regulates certain provisions of the national standard with the provisions of current laws, regulations and normative documents. The application of Amendments No. 1 to DSTU 9077:2021 will help ensure an adequate level of protection of the population in civil defense facilities in the event of natural and man-made disasters in peacetime and during a special period. The results of the research will be used in the design and commissioning of civil defense facilities equipped with air purification equipment, as well as in their maintenance.
