INVESTMENT CASTING, CERAMIC MOULD, BINDER, ONE-TIME PATTERN, ETHYL SILICATE, REFRACTORY FILLER. The purpose of the scientific project is to develop technological processes for manufacturing ceramic shell molds by one-time patterns obtained using 3D printing for casting complex-profile parts. The object of the study is ceramic molds made by firing patterns. The following equipment was used in the experiments: 3D printer KLEMA 250 Twin, laboratory drying cabinet SNOL 67/350, muffle furnace SNOL-2.4.2/12.5-I1, devices for determining the strength and gas permeability of molding mixtures, microscope MIM-11, etc. It was determined that ceramics based on electrocorundum, disten sillimanite, and Remasol Premium Plus have a tensile strength in the raw state of more than 3.0 MPa, which is at least 2 times higher than the strength of the corresponding ceramics on ETS, and after calcination their strength increased by 2 times. Two-stage and one-stage firing modes of polymer patterns from ceramic molds obtained with water-based binder have been developed, which prevent the formation of cracks in ceramics when the patterns expand during their heating. Technological processes for obtaining ceramic molds based on patterns obtained using 3D printing have been developed. Experimental castings from 15L and 12Cr18Ni9TiL steel have been made in ceramic molds obtained using the developed technology. The conducted studies have shown that water-based binders, in particular Remasol Premium Plus, have advantages, in particular in terms of technological properties, and in general can be recommended for implementation at Ukrainian foundries instead of ethyl silicate.
