Wide implementation of the plant as a component in the distributed generation of the United Energy System (UES) of Ukraine will ensure an increase in energy independence and security, as well as contribute to the transition to "green" energy, what will help to fulfill of the necessary requirements on the way to European integration and post-war recovery energy system of the country. popup.description2 The modern trend in energy development focuses on the 3D concept: decarbonization, decentralization, and digitalization. For Ukraine, in the context of the full-scale invasion by the aggressor country, the creation of conditions for the safe operation of the UES is especially relevant. Paper presents a literature review of existing energy machine designs operating on the Brayton cycle, identifying their advantages and disadvantages. The selection of key structural elements for the energy installation, including heat exchange equipment, has been carried out. The paper discusses the choice of a thermal generator from the series of jet-vortex generators-heat recoverers developed by the staff of TNPU and outlines ways for its further improvement and the creation of a high-efficiency power generation unit based on it. Using modern thermodynamic analysis methods developed at IPMach, optimal parameters of the thermal scheme were determined, which provided the data for the compressor and turbine development, such as the compression ratio and mass flow rate in the compressor, pressure and temperature at turbine inlet and outlet. The main geometric characteristics of the turbine and compressor were determined. A 3D model was developed, and the flow calculations for the preliminary options of the flow parts were performed. Results obtained demonstrate a high internal efficiency, which will ensure a high overall efficiency of the energy machine. Next, a preliminary design of an air-to-air heat exchanger was developed. A spiral construction of heat exchanger was selected. Numerical calculations of 3D flow in the heat exchanger, accounting for heat exchange on surfaces, were performed. The optimal dimensions of the heat exchanger were determined. In the next phase, strength calculations for the created flow parts were carried out. Areas of high stress concentrations were identified. Using the results of strength and gas-dynamic analysis, the material for the structure was chosen.
