This method allows for the study of the concentration of 90Sr and 137Cs in the different objects when the ratio of 137Cs/90Sr changes from 1 to 100 with an uncertainty of better than 20%. A technique has been developed that takes into account the change of the density of inanimate objects and is based on the shift in the position of the 137Cs conversion electrons peak. Verification of the technique in comparison with the radiochemical measurements of 90Sr in soil samples showed full agreement within 10-15%, with a change of the samples activity by four orders of magnitude. The beta and γ-spectra of the radioactive graphite samples from the 2nd unit of the Chernobyl NPP irradiated with bremsstrahlung γ-quanta with a end-point energy of 18 MeV were measured. Using experimental and passport data, the mass ratio of chlorine and cobalt was determined. From the obtained data and the measured activity of 60Co in the studied samples, a method for determining of the 36Cl activity was developed.
