The influence of complexly modified human umbilical cord MSCs on experimental non-infectious diseases in laboratory animals was studied. It was shown that two-stage modification of MSCs led to a faster and more complete, compared to native MSCs, restoration of biochemical, morphological and behavioral indicators in non-infectious peritonitis in mice, acute pancreatitis in rats and toxic memory impairment in mice. In an in vitro model of influenza infection, it was found that complexly modified MSCs in high concentrations slightly reduce the level of influenza virus reproduction, and in vivo experiments showed 100% survival of experimental animals on the 6th day of the experiment in all variants of MSC preparation, compared to untreated control.
