This contributes to solving the global challenges of our time, such as war, climate change, resource scarcity and urban population growth, while improving the health, comfort and economic prosperity of communities. Achieving a balance between the development of the construction industry and environmental protection is crucial. The multi-stage process combines scientific research, modeling and stakeholder engagement for practical implementation. The developed recommendations are aimed at the transition of the construction industry to sustainable green building practices in the process of rebuilding Ukraine. By combining quality, energy sustainability and resource-saving technologies, green standards for the built environment are focused on the urgent needs of wartime and support long-term sustainable development. Adapting international best practices to local conditions creates a unique framework for improving living standards, ensuring energy independence, and increasing the resilience of Ukraine's built environment. According to the Ukraine's European integration development plans, the implementation of green building standards will help attract international funding for Ukraine's reconstruction. The basis has been created for scientific methods of comprehensive assessment and optimal forms of environmental safety management for the development of stabilization measures and the creation of conditions for reliable safety of human life and activity, taking into account critical situations.
