Of these, 54 patients with newly diagnosed diabetes and 87 patients from the expanded database were analyzed in detail for the following factors: TGF-β1, IL-17A, IL-10, IL-4, LP(a), ApoA1, ApoB, lipids, low-density lipoproteins (LDL), Stat3, IkB, oxidized low-density lipoproteins (oхLDL), C-reactive protein (CRP), IL-6, C-peptide and NT-proBNP. For the first time, we have identified a decrease in TGF-β1 in patients with diabetes and a history of COVID-19 that may indicate an increase in biological age in this category of subjects. Determination of LP(a) is also important for assessment of biological age. Correlations between age and characteristics of the subjects were identified, which can be used to assess biological age. According to our data, the critical level of Lp(a) >50 mg/dl for cardiovascular diseases was observed in most groups of patients who had recovered from COVID-19. An increase in a number of indicators (IL-17A, IL-10, LP(a), ApoB, lipids, low-density lipoproteins and their oxidized form, C-reactive protein, IL-6) was demonstrated, which are critical for the development of cardiovascular complications of COVID-19. A study of the effect of treating patients with hypoglycemic drugs on the level of pro-inflammatory factors (primarily IL-6 and oхLDL) showed that insulin, biguanides, SGLT-2i and their combinations effectively reduce the amount of these factors in the blood of patients and can be recommended for the treatment and overcoming the consequences of COVID-19. The relationship with disorders of the cardio-renal system and the factors studied is shown.   Product Description popup.authors Kovzun Olena I. Popova Victoriia V. Pushkarov Volodymyr M.
