The conceptual category of “collaborationism”, its main dimensions, types and existing classifications are studied, with special attention paid to the conceptualization of such a term as “economic collaborationism”. The author characterizes the social moods in the occupation and identifies the main features of wartime everyday life, including high uncertainty, constant danger to life and health, information blockade, and terror by the enemy against representatives of the most active social groups. The visual space of everyday life is structured in the horizontal and vertical dimensions. The influence of social and spatial factors on the involvement of the population in cooperation with the Russian occupiers in the economic sphere is studied, in particular, the social actors involved in these processes are analyzed, their strategies are identified, and the relationship between the geographical features of the region and the development of economic collaborationism is revealed. It is noted that, according to the amount of power, financial and symbolic resources, collaborative practices are structured on the principles of patron-client relations, and collaborators are most active in trade, services and agriculture. The author proves the particular danger of collaborators' activities in the logistics industry. The peculiarities of the genesis of economic collaborationism in different territorial, settlement and organizational communities, the specifics of its manifestations in single-industry towns, in territories with a high proportion of ethnic Russians and in frontline areas are studied.
