Research methods are simplex-lattice method of experiment planning, physical, mechanical and technical properties were determined in accordance with the current DSTU and international ISO standards. Experimental data processing was performed using mathematical statistics methods. Based on previously developed theoretical provisions, theoretical calculations and laboratory studies, technological parameters for manufacturing a laboratory batch of paving slabs were substantiated; calibration dependences of the pressing pressure were established to obtain a given initial strength of the raw material; Rational conditions for the strength gain of a laboratory batch of paving slabs were determined; recommendations were developed for the use of technological equipment and parameters for the manufacture of paving slabs; protocols for research of the physical, mechanical, technical and operational properties of the obtained paving slab samples were obtained. Laboratory samples developed on the basis of high-tonnage waste from the metallurgical and energy industries meet the requirements of DSTU B V.2.7.–238:2010 and have the following indicators of physical, mechanical, technical and operational properties: normal density of slag-alkali binder – 12%; mobility of the initial concrete mixture – class P2, which helps to regulate the speed of strength gain; compressive strength – class B35; tensile strength when bending – class Bvtv 3.6; water absorption – 4.2 6%; frost resistance – class F150; abrasion resistance – 0.8 g/cm2.
