The purpose of the work is to improve the diagnosis of inflammatory bowel diseases based on the study of ultrasound parameters of the colon and factors associated with the consequences of military operations. Research methods: clinical, endoscopic, morphological, ultrasound, immunological, medical and statistical, questionnaire. It was found that in patients with UC, total colon damage occurred 2.3 times more often with severe severity than with average. A higher frequency of anemia was determined in patients with UC and HC with severe disease than in patients with average severity. Depressive and/or anxiety changes were diagnosed in 60.1% of the examined patients. 33.9% of servicemen indicated difficulties with access to medical care. The features of the endoscopic picture of IBD depending on the severity were studied. The dependence of the content of cytokines IL-17 and IL-23 on the severity of IBD was determined. Conducting ROC analysis allowed us to establish a high quality diagnostic indicator - muscle layer thickness for differential diagnosis of UC and HC. The threshold value of muscle layer thickness above which HC is diagnosed in patients with IBD was 1.3 mm, sensitivity was 58.8% and specificity was 76.2%. The degree of blood flow density, which was determined by the number of loci per 1 cm2, showed high diagnostic significance for determining pronounced endoscopic activity of UC. The threshold value of the number of loci indicating pronounced endoscopic activity in UC was 8, sensitivity was 58.8% and specificity was 76.2%. The diagnostic value of intestinal wall thickness in assessing the severity of VK has been determined, so intestinal wall thickness of more than 7.7 mm indicates severe VK, sensitivity is 88.2% and specificity is 89.1%. For HC, a relationship between TRUSD parameters and endoscopic indicators has been established. Thus, the number of CDs in the CO of the T  Product Description popup.authors Haidar Yurii A.
