Therefore, the development of new treatment approaches involves studying the complex use of both new neurotropic drugs in combination with modern means of controlling brain excitability through non-invasive transcranial effects of physical factors as an alternative to classical treatment with antiepileptic drugs. Using neuromodulators that are specific for receptor complexes pathogenetically related to the mechanisms of neuroimmune inflammation allows for more effective control of neuronal excitability and the achievement of therapeutic effects in chronic epilepsy. Accordingly, the combination of drugs allows for the achievement of synergistic therapeutic effects, reducing drug doses and preventing the occurrence of side effects.
