Scientific research at this stage was aimed at studying the taxonomic composition, dynamics of numbers and spatial distribution of birds of prey, sturgeons and ungulate mammals (primarily moose). Changes in the range were identified, which in the case of birds of prey and sturgeons are due to anthropogenic factors. The distribution of moose was significantly affected by climatic changes during the Holocene - the range decreased during periods of warming, especially in the west-east direction, less in the south-north direction. It was established that during the Neolithic-Modern times, the anthropogenic load on different groups of birds of prey was not uniform. From the Neolithic and up to the Bronze Age inclusive, the inhabitants of the south of Eastern Europe actively hunted owls. In the Iron Age, diurnal birds of prey were the priority. Increased anthropogenic pressure has led to a reduction in the range of some species, in particular the eagle owl and golden eagle. The results of the study of the remains of sturgeon indicate a decrease in the number of these species, which began with a decrease in the number of beluga and stellate sturgeon, and the number of sterlet and Russian sturgeon stdecreased. Separate areas of scientific work are the development of a determinant of osteological materials of sturgeon and the formation of a catalog of finds of wild species in archaeological sites of Ukraine. In the direction of museum work, the arrangement of finds of the 19th-21st centuries is being carried out. The re-obtained materials make it possible to study the formation of paleontology and archaeology in Ukraine. As part of scientific and educational activities, a number of public lectures were held, in particular at the Pinchuk ArtCentre, and articles were published aimed at popularizing zooarchaeology.
