Object of research: getter materials with a sufficient level of porosity and high sorption properties. Research methods: optical and electron microscopy, laser analysis of particle sizes. The processes of microstructure evolution for two-component getter materials are studied. The difference in synthesis and final microstructure between the Ti-Mo and Ti-Zr systems is shown. The reasons for the formation of final microstructures for these materials are determined. It is shown that for the Ti-Mo system it is possible to achieve a final porosity within 23-28%, and for Ti-Zr - 23-26%. The influence of the content of alloying impurities, as well as methods of their introduction on the microstructure and porosity is analyzed, a general technological scheme and recommendations for obtaining single-component getter materials with the desired mechanical characteristics and residual porosity are developed.
