An analysis of scientific achievements, legislation, domestic experience and best international practices regarding professional classification in the national professional classification system, including a list of domestic regulatory legal acts, was carried out. Scientifically substantiated proposals were provided for updating the Handbook of Qualification Characteristics of Workers' Professions, Issue 64 approved by the Order of the State Committee for Construction, Architecture and Housing Policy of Ukraine dated October 13, 1999 No. 249 (as amended). The results of the work are intended for specialists in the construction sector, construction customers and other participants in the implementation of construction projects.
