The impact of globalization on countries' competitiveness and their place in the international economic system is identified. Main sources of competitiveness, including investments in education, infrastructure, and innovation, are highlighted. The use of global indices, such as the Human Development Index and the Global Social Progress Index, for analyzing socio-economic inequality and developing measures to reduce it is substantiated. The post-war recovery of Ukraine’s economy is examined through stimulating domestic investments, particularly in "green" projects, considering the role of public investments in sustainable development. Analyzing small business support in Europe offers insights into measures for adapting these practices to Ukraine, including employment compensation, preferential lending, and the "eRobota" program, which will stabilize entrepreneurship during martial law. The approach to analyzing foreign economic potential, focusing on the interaction of export-import and production-investment components, has been improved. Innovative models of foreign trade, international cooperation, and investment activities have been identified as key to integration into the global economy. An adaptive model for Ukrainian enterprises to enter international markets, focusing on transitioning to European standards through digitalization, environmental sustainability, and service orientation, has been developed. Directions for developing foreign economic potential, including export-import and investment synergies, have been identified.
