The aim of the work is to create protective coatings on carbon materials, refractory metals and steels. A heat-resistant coating was created, which is formed by applying a layer of slip of the composition 45W+33Hf+8B+14Ni wt.% to the surface of ARV graphite and subsequent borosilication in sodium chloride vapor. This coating protects ARV graphite from oxidation in air at temperatures from 1600 °C to 1950 °C from 40 to 1 hour. Another composition of the slip is 35HfB2+20ZrSi2+25W+13Ni+7B wt.%. was used to obtain a heat-resistant coating on samples of graphite grade MPG-7 and carbon-carbon composite materials (CCCM). The heat-resistant coating created by this method provides protection at a temperature of T=1700 °C for graphite MPG-7 for 14 hours, and for CCCM for 7 hours. A heat-resistant layer was created on samples of niobium by means of chemical-thermal treatment in a powder mixture [(20-25)Si + (20-24)ZrSi2 + (20-24)HfB2 + (30-35) MoSi2] wt.% and under the action of sodium chloride vapor, which provided protection against oxidation of samples of niobium for 4 to 6 hours at a temperature of T=1700 °C. To increase the corrosion resistance of steel 20Kh1M1F1TR, vacuum activated chromium plating of its surface was carried out.
