Head Moroz Larysa V., Доктор медичних наук Registration Date 03-01-2025 Organization Vinnytsia National Pirogov Memorial Medical University popup.description1 popup.description2  In the study, for the first time, a correlation was established between increased levels of IL-17A and IP-10 in the blood serum of patients with HBV co-infected with HIV and the enhancement of the inflammatory process. The role of IL-17A and IP-10 as markers of fibrotic changes in the liver that significantly influence disease progression, particularly in patients with HBV/HIV co-infection, was first proven. Unique characteristics of ALT dynamics in the blood serum of patients with HBV on the background of HIV infection during antiviral therapy (ART) were identified, with an increase in the incidence of "ALT flare" observed within ≤6 months of treatment. For the first time, the dynamics of HBsAg levels in the blood serum of patients with HBV and HIV infection during ART with tenofovir disoproxil fumarate were studied. Using a parametric approach, a model of factors influencing a 2 log10 reduction in HBsAg in the serum of HBV/HIV patients undergoing ART was developed. For the first time, a strong association between glucuronic acid levels in serum and liver fibrogenesis was established. New data were obtained on the relationship of rsl1536889 +3725 G/C polymorphisms of the TLR-4 gene in chronic hepatitis C patients with age, sex, disease duration, and clinical-laboratory characteristics of HCV. Prognostic criteria for the course of chronic hepatitis C depending on the combinations of rsl1536889 +3725 G/C polymorphisms of the TLR-4 gene were developed. It was first determined that the presence of the C allele (in the heterozygous G/C variant) increases the risk of mixed cell-humoral immunological changes in cytomegalovirus (CMV)-positive patients with community-acquired pneumonia. The study revealed the prevalence of IL-4(-6), TLR-2(-4) gene polymorphisms depending on the severity of acute brucellosis. A 94.67% reduction in the risk of cardiovascular complications in acute brucellosis patients carrying the A/G genotype of the TLR-4 gene was identified.
