The purpose of the work is the use of compact equipment, which can consist of several technological units within one unit of equipment, automation of monitoring and control of technological processes, solving complex design issues in conditions of reduced areas or dense development by existing structures, especially during the reconstruction of facilities. The method of the research is the analysis of modern technological concepts regarding the final cooling of coke oven gas with solar oil and naphthalene recovery from saturated oil as well as the performance of material and thermal calculations of the above-mentioned processes and equipment. On the basis of calculations, technological diagrams and pipelines diagrams with the arrangement of instrumentation points and control fittings were developed, technological and other equipment was selected.
