Purpose - modelling the spectral composition of LED light sources for a wide range of functional purposes with using the developed software and experimentally and experimentally studied spectra of phosphors based on transition and/or rare earth metals to determine the optimal contribution to the resulting radiation of spectral components (basic short-wave and broadband photoluminescence), that will allow to achieve high quality (colour rendering index) and spectral efficiency of the resulting radiation. Methods Research - a set of modern methods was used in the study experimental analysis, including measurements of the spectral characteristics of phosphors based on transition and rare earth metals. The search for the most effective phosphor configurations was carried out using specially developed software, which made it possible to determine the effect of different phosphor configurations on the resulting spectral parameters of LEDs based on them. As a result of the work, a methodology for modelling the spectral composition of LED light sources based on blue LEDs and single or multi-component phosphors was developed. The proposed methodology made it possible to optimise the key photometric characteristics of new types of LEDs, in particular, for the implementation of lighting systems for special purposes.
