The influence of large eccentricity and shaft whirl in the radial direction and harmonic oscillations in the axial directions are taken into account. The static and dynamic stability of the buffer bearing-sealing systems was analyzed. Thermohydrodynamic analysis of a buffer impulse dry gas seal with a continuous supply was performed with the help of modeling by computational fluid dynamic methods. The influence of thermal and force deformations of the rings and dynamic coefficients of stiffness and damping on the efficiency of the buffer impulse seal is determined. The results of the dynamic calculation of the impulse gas seal based on the numerical solution of the unsteady Reynolds equation for lubrication and the dynamics of the stator ring movement were obtained. The data obtained from the analysis of the structure-forming characteristics of the surface layers of carbon steel after electrospark alloying (ESA), nitriding and nitrocementing using special technological environments (STE).
