Based on experimental data, quantitative and qualitative indicators were obtained that characterize the energy exchange of AGW with wind flows. Using these data, a theoretical mechanism for the energy interaction of AGW with spatially inhomogeneous wind flows of the atmosphere was developed. To determine the contribution of AGW to the energy balance, the energy of these waves was compared with the energy of low-frequency fluctuations of the geomagnetic field.
