The purpose of the research is to develop practical recommendations to enhance the efficiency of grain cleaning in Kondratenko I.V.'s farming enterprise. The report on the scientific research work is dedicated to improving the design of a self-cleaning sieve for grain cleaning machines used in Kondratenko I.V.'s farming enterprise. The primary goal of the study is to develop practical recommendations to increase the efficiency of grain crop cleaning and ensure compliance with modern agricultural production requirements. Research Results: 1. A new design of a self-cleaning sieve with wedge-shaped slots expanding in the direction of the processed material flow was developed. 2. Theoretical justification and mathematical modeling of the separation process were conducted, allowing the determination of optimal sieve parameters (slot width, rod inclination angle, etc.). 3. Experimental trials showed that the introduction of the new sieve ensures:  an 18–20% increase in the productivity of grain cleaning machines;  a 14–16% improvement in the quality of grain material cleaning;  a reduction in energy consumption and maintenance costs.
