The aim – to develop a technology for the treatment, rehabilitation and restoration of working capacity of military personnel and civilians affected by hostilities, patients with chronic nonspecific lung diseases, taking into account the functional state of the cardiorespiratory system. Study methods: clinical-functional, instrumental, statistical. It was proved a high (75.0%) frequency of COPD among military and civilians from the combat zone in Ukraine was established, with the nosological forms: chronic non-obstructive bronchitis (70.6%), COPD (69.2%), uncontrolled asthma (37.4%), constrictive bronchiolitis (44.4%), VDTL (20.3%), IZL (11.8%). Persistent bronchospasm and impaired lung diffusion capacity were proven in the specified contingent, which was confirmed by changed of bronchial resistance (R tot), residual lung volume (RV), intrathoracic gas volume (ITGV), inspiratory capacity (IC), vital lung capacity and instantaneous expiratory volumetric velocities. High pulse, blood pressure, frequent extrasystoles, high variability of blood pressure, the absence of its physiological decrease at night in combatants and civilians from the combat zone were revealed. An algorithm for early diagnosis of manifestations of the aggravated course of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease was developed and it was proven that regardless of age and gender, the number of examinations, the percentage of cases of occurrence (aggravation) of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease in military and civilians from the combat zone and front-line areas is very high (85.5%) (primarily chronic obstructive bronchitis). The data obtained are the basis for the development of comprehensive methods of treatment and rehabilitation of the specified contingent. Sphere of application – pulmonology, internal medicine.
