The project aimed to develop a set of solutions to improve the pricing process and reduce social tensions caused by increasing utility tariffs, particularly for natural gas distribution services, by creating a new model for calculating the cost of services provided, taking into account the digitalization of industry enterprises. The methodological basis of the study was a combination of general scientific and social methods of cognition. The research methods used in this study are based on the fundamental principles of gas dynamics, economics, management, and computer engineering. The goal of the work and the specifics of the research object determined a comprehensive approach to the selection of methods and techniques. In particular, the authors used the theory of hydraulic calculations of gas networks, logical generalization, and a systematic approach; grouping and semantic analysis; empirical and statistical analysis; system-structural analysis; economic and mathematical forecasting; neural network modeling and cluster analysis; graphical and tabular methods; cognitive and information modeling, etc. The obtained results. The implementation of the project made it possible to solve an important socially significant task - the scientific substantiation of a new methodology for determining and calculating the tariff for natural gas distribution, which is adapted to the postulates and laws of a cyclical economy and takes into account the level of digitalization of gas distribution enterprises.
