Development of methods for creating and characterizing silicon structures with specified thermal transport properties based on the results of computer simulation and machine learning, their experimental verification popup.description2 The project is aimed at studying and optimizing the heat transport characteristics of semiconductor materials using methods such as computer modeling, molecular dynamics analysis, and machine learning algorithms. The main object of the research is multilayer porous silicon structures, which demonstrate promising properties for controlling heat flows and thermoelectric conversion. The goal of the project is to develop a strategy for controlled heat transport by simultaneously optimizing several material parameters (pore morphology, layer thickness, number of interfaces, degree of porosity). At the first stage of the project, computer modeling of heat transfer was carried out to form a database of thermophysical properties and study the physical mechanisms of heat transport. The next stage involves the application of machine learning methods to analyze and determine optimal configurations of structures. At the final stage, the synthesis of multilayer structures and experimental verification of their heat transport, electrophysical, and optical properties will be carried out.
