Purpose - to determine the regularities of the influence of electrothermal processes of high-temperature synthesis of carburetors from anthracites and natural graphites of domestic origin on their quality indicators: carbon content, structure and activity, chemical composition of ash and integral efficiency indicator - the intensity of carbon absorption by the metal melt in the processes of synthetic cast iron production. Methods - experimental studies of the production of carburisers from domestic raw materials by heat treatment at temperatures up to 3000°C and their properties in relation to the production of synthetic cast iron. The main tasks solved in the work are: development and validation of the methodology for researching the processes of synthesis of innovative carburetors; research of the processes of synthesis of innovative carburetors based on anthracite and natural graphites, analysis of physical properties of carburetors, obtaining kinetic dependences of quality indicators of carburetors on temperature and time; research of processes of synthetic cast iron production using innovative carburetors. Results: dependences of the influence of the main technological parameters of heat treatment (t°C, holding time) on the chemical composition, structural characteristics, dispersed carbon materials based on anthracite were obtained; optimal technological parameters for obtaining high-quality carburettor from anthracite of the Donetsk deposit were determined; technological regulations for the production of carburettor based on heat treatment of anthracite in an electrothermal fluidised bed were developed; optimal characteristics of carburettors based on anthracite were determined.
