Object of the study: the process of forming national solidarity in schoolchildren and students. Subject of the study: pedagogical conditions for the formation of national solidarity in schoolchildren and students in wartime and post-war times. Research methods: theoretical - study, analysis and generalization of scientific literature in order to develop scientific approaches to determining the essence and content of basic concepts, development and justification of pedagogical conditions for the formation of national solidarity in schoolchildren and students; systematization and classification of empirical information; methods of comparative analysis, interpretation and generalization of facts; modeling; empirical - study, analysis and generalization of methodological materials on the problem; ascertaining, formative and control stages of the pedagogical experiment; statistical - methods of mathematical statistics and processing of research results; monitoring the implementation of the results of the research. Novelty of the work performed: scientific sources are analyzed, basic concepts are clarified, structural components, values are characterized, criteria, indicators, levels of formation are determined; a personally oriented methodology for the formation of national solidarity is proposed; methods of a formative experiment are developed, a formative experiment is conducted, and experimental testing of the effectiveness of pedagogical conditions is initiated.. Degree of implementation: the results of the research are reflected in the published intermediate results of the study - analytical materials, articles, materials of scientific and practical conferences.
