Paton Elektric Welding Institute National Academy of scinces of Ukraine popup.description1 The aim is to improve the performance of welded joints based on the development and research of new technologies for strengthening treatments by pulsed electromagnetic fields and study the evolution of the stress state of joints by electronic speckle - interferometry, improvement of optoelectronic methods of contactless diagnostics based on electronic broadband and speckle - correlations, optimization of functional properties of promising structures of the transformed volume, adapted to the conditions of outer space. popup.description2  Based on the analysis of previous studies, it is shown that the contribution to the electroplastic deformation of metals is provided by the dynamic pinch effect and the pulsed electromagnetic field (PEMF). On the basis of the developed mathematical model, the kinetics and residual distribution of plastic deformations (AMg6 samples) under dynamic interaction of the indenter with the plate were calculated. A method for improving the efficiency of PEMF processing (PEMFP) by forming additional layers of material is proposed. It has been established: PEMFP allows to increase the accuracy of sample manufacturing; PEMFP of AMg6 samples contributes to a twofold reduction in tensile residual stresses (RS) compared to RS of samples without treatment; PEMFP initiates dispersion of the metal structure of the AMg6 weld; as a result of processing the weld of AMg6 samples, the fracture resistance is doubled compared to samples without treatment. The report considers the use of laser interferometry methods for non-destructive quality control (NDQC) of welds in metal structural elements. The expediency of using digital shearography (DSH) in combination with the heat wave blocking (HWB) method to detect аreas with defects in welds of flat and t-beam elements made of aluminum and titanium alloys is determined. NDQC experiments using the DSH and HWB methods of composite panel elements and welded samples from 2021 and TS4 alloys were carried out. For the first time, defects of ultra-small sizes - from 0.3 mm in diameter at different depths of occurrence - were detected. The possibility of preserving the functional properties of the structure of the convertible volume (SCV) after shape transformation (ST) with a transform. ratio of 1:10 was confirmed, and the influence of the ST of the process of forming compact sections on the level of opening of a multi-section long-dimensional structure was found.
