Yanovskyi National academy of medical sciences of Ukraine" popup.description1 To increase the effectiveness of treatment of patients with tuberculosis and non-specific lung diseases with concomitant pathology with the use of objective indications for the use of valvular bronchoblocking popup.description2  The object of the study is 275 patients with pleural empyema with bronchopleural connection.The goal is to increase the effectiveness of treatment of patients with tuberculosis and nonspecific lung diseases with concomitant pathology using the algorithm for the use of valvular bronchoblockage. Methods and equipment are clinical, surgical, radiological, laboratory; computed tomography, videothoracoscopic complex, videofibrobronchoscopic complex, endobronchial bronchooccluder, bedside pleuroaspirator. The developed method of treatment of patients with bronchopleural connection allows for personalized planning, prevention of surgical interventions or manipulations, reduction of the duration of hospital stay, on average, by 24.6 %, complete cure of all patients without the use of any surgical interventions. A method has been developed for determining the optimal stages and volumes of diagnostic and therapeutic measures in the specified contingents, which includes a set of measures for their examination. The application of the methodology allows to provide: personalized planning and treatment based on objective data, prevention of surgical interventions or manipulations, reduction of the length of stay of patients in the hospital, on average, by 45.2 % and complete cure of 98.8 % of patients without the use of any additional surgical interventions. An algorithm for the use of valvular bronchoocclusion in patients with bronchopleurothoracic complications has been developed, which includes a set of examination measures with mandatory computed tomography of the chest and densitometric assessment of the obtained data in a personalized manner. When using it, personalized planning and treatment based on objective data is achieved, prevention of surgical interventions or manipulations, reduction of the length of stay in the hospital, on average, by 24.6 %, complete cure of 97.4 % of patients without the use of any additional surgical interventions.Field of application - surger Product Description popup.authors Ivashchenko Volodymyr Ye.
