Object of the study: Healthy women of reproductive age, women with inflammatory disease of the paraurethral glands. Research methods: clinical examination (including questionnaire), anatomical-functional, biochemical (prostate-specific antigen total, prostate-specific antigen free), microbiological, ultrasonographic examination of the pelvic organs with the use of the Doppler method of vessels of the paraurethral zone. Result: A gynecological, urological and sexological examination was conducted on 94 women of the control group and 34 patients of the clinical group of reproductive age. Inflammatory disease of the paraurethral glands was formed against the background of chronic inflammatory disease of the pelvic organs, was distinguished by a manifest clinical course compared to the latent development of the inflammatory process on the genitals in all patients. Concomitant infection of the paraurethral ducts and glands accompanies female urethritis, cystitis, inflammatory disease of the genitals and can persist as an undetected and unaccounted source of recurrent inflammatory processes on the urogenitals. Conducting complex of systemic anti-inflammatory therapy with local use of antibacterial drugs for women with chronic inflammatory disease of the paraurethral glands was accompanied by the achievement of a positive clinical and microbiological effect after 2-3 weeks of therapy in 73.5% of patients and stabilization of the inflammatory disease with a decrease in inflammatory formation in the area of the paraurethral glands in 26.5% of patients who required surgical treatment.
