In the contour areas of the deformed samples, the rule of parity of tangential stresses is observed. The purpose of the work is to develop an analytical method for calculating the compressive strength of high rock samples and computer programs using the shear strength of isometric samples, which is easily determined using simple equipment directly at mining enterprises, where the calculation results can be quickly used without involving complex specialized press equipment. Research methods - a set of theoretical studies using the fundamental principles of the mechanics of a deformable elastic body, analysis of experimental stress-strain fracture diagrams. The relevance and importance of the results lies in the established regularities of the compressive strength limit and the construction of "normal stress - strain" diagrams of rock samples using four indicators of rock properties.
