The object of the research is the aesthetic education of students of teenage and high school age in the process of aesthetic education and art education in general secondary education institutions. The subject of the research is the methodological toolkit of artistic communication and methodological principles (pedagogical conditions and methods) of aesthetic education in the virtual media space by means of artistic communication. Research methods: - theoretical - analysis of scientific sources on the research problem, to clarify the key definitions, the structure of the studied phenomenon and the justification of the diagnostic procedure; - empirical (surveys, questionnaires, generalization of pedagogical experience, pedagogical observation, ascertaining experiment); - statistical - methods of descriptive statistics, expert assessments. The novelty of the completed work: for the first time, the methods of artistic communication of the subjects of the process of aesthetic education in general secondary education institutions were specified, the cultivated potential of artistic communication was determined; criteria for aesthetic education in relation to students and teachers' readiness for artistic communication in the virtual media space have been developed; the essence and relationship in the context of the study of the concepts "artistic communication", "virtual media space", "aesthetic education" are specified.
