The research will establish the basic principles of formation of new hybrid materials depending on the chemical nature of the original inorganic and organic components and establish the relationship between the structure and properties of polymeric materials. popup.description2  Two types of hybrid materials were created – polymer/silica sorbents with grafted different functional groups containing an inorganic silicon-containing component and alginate-silica hybrid composites containing the renewable natural polysaccharide alginate. Based on the results of the work, a laboratory protocol for the best polymer composition was developed – a functionalized composite polymer/silica sorbent, which is intended for wastewater treatment from dyes.
