Registration Date 10-01-2025 Organization State Institution "OM Marzeev Institute of Public Health of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine" popup.description1 Assessment of the safety and toxicological properties of the disinfectant "DESAMIN" in accordance with the "Classification of disinfectants and their active substances according to the degree of danger" (Order of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine No. 2024 of 03.09.20); determination of the possibility of state registration of the product in Ukraine in accordance with the requirements of Resolution of the CMU No. 863 dated August 15, 2023 "Regulations on the state registration of disinfectants". popup.description2 According to the degree of impact on the body, according to the classification given in the Order of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine No. 2024 dated 03.09.2020, the disinfectant "DESAMIN":in concentrated (native) form when administered into the stomach and applied to the skin belongs to hazard class 3 (moderately hazardous agents); according to the parameters of acute inhalation toxicity, it belongs to hazard class 4 (low-hazard agents), causes irritation of the upper respiratory tract; according to the irritating effect on the skin - to hazard class 3; according to the sensitizing effect - to hazard class 4; irritates the mucous membrane of the eyes; in the form of a 3% working solution, i.e., in the recommended concentrations for use, according to the parameters of acute oral toxicity it belongs to the 3rd hazard class, acute dermal toxicity - to the 4th hazard class, acute inhalation toxicity - belongs to the 4th hazard class, according to the irritating effect on the skin - to the 4th hazard class, according to the irritating effect on the mucous membranes of the eyes - to the 3rd hazard class, the working solutions of the product do not have a sensitizing effect (4th hazard class). The drug does not exhibit mutagenic, carcinogenic, teratogenic and gonadotropic properties. Air control of the working area under production and use conditions is carried out by the content (mg/m3, not more): benzalkonium chloride - not more than 1.0 mg/m3; N-(3 aminopropyl)-N-dodecylpropane-1,3diamine - not more than 1.0 mg/m3; didecyldimethylammonium chloride – no more than 1.0 mg/m3; ethyl alcohol – no more than 1000 mg/m3 [3].
