An analysis of the collections of fossil organisms (fossils) of the Paleontological Museum of LNU was carried out in order to create a Passport of a scientific object of national heritage. The exposition and exhibition material has been modernized, supplemented and updated, new departments have been created. An audit of the collection of proboscis teeth was carried out, the collection of fossil wood of the Miocene of Roztocze was investigated for systematic affiliation, burial processes and mineral substitutions. An audit of the collection of their fossils was carried out, rare and valuable fossil traces of vital activity and their scientific and applied significance were revealed.
