Head Haponova Oksana P., Доктор технічних наук Registration Date 10-01-2025 Organization Sumy State University popup.description1 Development and application of scientific and technological principles of functional coatings formation by combined methods based on electrospark alloying popup.description2  The research systematises the methods of improving the surface quality parameters of friction pair elements of critical parts of power plant pumping equipment operating in difficult conditions, analyses environmentally friendly, energy-efficient methods of surface modification by concentrated energy flows based on electrospark alloying (ESA), laser and plasma processing and their combination, and identifies ways of improving technologies for increasing the reliability of parts of dynamic power plant equipment. Laboratory methods for obtaining coatings by ESA (alitisation, formation of complex coatings, coatings using electrodes of combined composition - high entropy alloys) have been developed. Materials and surface treatments are proposed and justified. The compositions of saturating pastes for surface alloying during ESA are presented. Coatings on specimens of selected steels were synthesised using the modes forming surfaces with the specified parameters. Their structure, phase and chemical composition and mechanical properties were investigated. Materials science research methods and standard test methods for determining mechanical properties were used in the development and formation of composite materials of the coating-substrate type. The scientific results are sufficiently covered by publications in the scientific and metric databases Scopus and WoS, professional journals, patents, monographs and teaching materials. The research results have been implemented in the educational process of Sumy State University.
