This allows for the prompt, real-time comparison of the obtained information with the corresponding technological regulations, as well as with pre-determined optimal characteristics of technological units, thereby ensuring the achievement of specified indicators in the ore beneficiation process, taking into account environmental protection requirements and energy efficiency. popup.description2  The project is aimed at solving the urgent problem of developing and improving methods of geological exploration of all types of minerals, especially strategic and critical ones, as well as improving the efficiency of mining and mineral processing processes. The aim of the research is to develop theoretical bases and to substantiate the methods and technologies of determining the mineralogical varieties of iron-bearing ores at the initial stage of the process of their extraction and processing. In accordance with the proposed approach, the formation of a set of characteristic parameters of iron-bearing ores is carried out, sufficient to recognise the main mineralogical varieties of raw materials in the process of technological operations of mining production with the use of intellectual methods of analysis of the received information. This makes it possible to promptly compare the obtained information with the corresponding technological regulations and the predetermined optimal characteristics of technological units, thus ensuring the achievement of the specified indicators of the ore processing process, taking into account the requirements of environmental protection and energy efficiency. At the reporting stage of the work the analysis of the problem of increasing the efficiency of the processes of extraction and processing of iron ore raw materials with operational definition and consideration of its mineralogical varieties was carried out; the processes of electromagnetic ultrasound transformation in iron-bearing rocks were theoretically substantiated; the influence of phase inhomogeneities in rocks on the processes of electromagnetic ultrasound transformation and propagation of ultrasound waves was studied; the modelling of the process of electromagnetic ultrasound transformation and propagation of ultrasound waves was carried out.
