The subject of the study is the change in the physical and mechanical properties of the grass seed heap. The purpose of the work is to analyze the existing designs of dryers for loose plant materials and their operation; to investigate the physical and mechanical properties of the grass seed heap as a drying object. Research methods. Experimental studies were conducted according to industry and developed methods on specially designed and manufactured installations and devices. Statistical processing of experimental data was carried out using mathematical statistics methods using the applied computer programs MathCAD 14 and Microsoft Office Excel 2007.
