SPLENECTOMY, NON-HODGKIN'S LYMPHOMA, SPLENOMEGALIA, HYPERSPLENISM. Object of study – Patients with non-Hodgkin's lymphoma, medical histories, outpatient charts of patients, splenectomy. Purpose of work – Screening of direct and separate results of splenectomy in non-Hodgkin's lymphoma and on this basis to develop modern indications, nature, tactics of surgical intervention and management of the postoperative period in these patients. Research methods – clinical, cytological, histological, immunohistochemical, radiological, sonographic, immunophenotypic studies, computed tomography. During the period of the research, clinical and hematological characteristics were performed and the effectiveness of splenectomy was analyzed in 46 patients with SMZL, 9 patients with SLVL, 31 patients with DLBCL, 2 patients with hepatosplenic T-cell lymphoma, and 6 patients with mantle cell lymphoma. The diagnosis of NHL was performed based on the results of clinical examination, cytological, histological and immunohistochemical examination of biopsies of removed lymph nodes and/or spleen, as well as immunophenotypic characteristics of lymphoma cells, according to the WHO classification (2018). All patients were treated in the surgical department of the State Institution "Institute of Blood Pathology and Transfusion Medicine of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine" and the State Institution "VIP "5th City Clinical Hospital" Lviv TMO-2". The operations were performed under general anesthesia - endotracheal anesthesia and epidural anesthesia. Access during operations - upper median laparotomy. In some cases, the upper median laparotomy was supplemented with an oblique incision in the left hypochondrium. In each case, the operation was completed with careful hemostasis and peritonization of the splenic bed, drainage of the left subdiaphragmatic space with separate removal of drainage tubes.
