The purpose of the study – The study of the set of magnetic, thermal, and dynamic phenomena observed in the upper layers of the solar atmosphere, including the temperature minimum, chromosphere, corona, and solar wind. Research Method - 1) spectral, spectropolarimetric and filter observations of the Sun, 2) solution of multilevel problems of polarized radiation transport within the framework of quantum polarization theory for the case of a three-dimensional environment, 3) mathematical modeling of wave propagation in the solar atmosphere within the framework of a non-uniform dynamic model of the atmosphere, 4) wavelet analysis of changes in climatic parameters with solar activity, 5) simulation of the H I Ly-α resonance line in a three-dimensional model of the chromosphere taking into account the effects of 3D radiation transport and the effects of the NPP scattering in the line. Results and their novelty - 1) a large class of allowed extreme ultraviolet spectral lines of highly ionized iron and silicon atoms was discovered, which are linearly polarized due to the so-called atomic polarization mechanism, 2) it was shown that the spectral lines from quiet areas of the Sun's surface respond to modulation of the general magnetic field, 3) the features of the development, changes in the structure of the magnetic field, flare activity and its impact on the Earth of active regions of various types were investigated, 4) it was found that the radial direction of sound wave propagation in the solar atmosphere depends on the magnitude of the magnetic field strength.   Product Description popup.authors Vasylieva Iryna E.
