The purpose of the work is to develop recommendations for ensuring gas safety of the excavation area 19 of the northern slope slope № 1 when using the reverse-flow ventilation scheme, type 1-M. Research methods – generalization and analysis of results, calculations using standard methods. As a result of the work, the technical documentation for the development of 19 of the northern slope slope № 1 of the l1 layer of LLC “Mine 1-3 Novogrodivska” was analyzed. The air flow rate required for ventilation of 19 of the northern slope slope № 1 of the l1 layer was calculated, and the maximum permissible load on the cleaning face according to the gas factor was calculated. “Recommendations for ensuring gas safety of the excavation area 19 of the northern slope slope № 1 when using the reverse-flow ventilation scheme, type 1-M” was developed. A reverse-flow, type 1-M, ventilation scheme and calculation of the air flow rate required for ventilation of the treatment pit and the excavation area, and the permissible gas factor load on the treatment pit 19 of the northern slope № 1 were agreed upon. As a result of the application of the developed recommendations, dust and gas safety during mining operations will be increased, which is of great socio-economic and environmental importance.
