The purpose of the research is to develop a methodological complex for ensuring public communications between a historian and the public on issues of Ukrainian history. Methodology: frontier, network and personal approaches to the general narrative of the history of Ukraine in the interdisciplinary space of psychohistory, psychogenealogy, scientific studies, religious studies, law, social, intellectual, regional gender and everyday history, genealogy and ""new biography"", imagology with appropriate methodological tools; synthesis of macro- and microhistorical approaches; archival heuristics, criticism of historical sources, historiographical approaches, digital technologies. Results: 1) the understanding of the directions of Ukrainian Islamic and Cossack studies, ethno-confessional and intellectual history, history of the Ukrainian state and law of the 18th–19th centuries, women's history and family history, agrarian history, traumatic aspects of the history of Ukrainian society and personal studies under totalitarian regimes, history of everyday life, oral and digital history of Ukraine was deepened; 2) attention was paid to the development of strategies, methods and technologies, as well as the content of public communications of professional historians with the public on issues of historical Ukrainian studies, in the field of historical memory and historical policy; 3) newly discovered in the archives of historical document complexes were introduced into the educational process, which allowed to clarify the idea of the events and processes of the past, and from certain perspectives to rethink their essence; 4) new courses were developed under the educational program ""Historical Ukrainian Studies and Applied History"" of the specialty 032 History and Archaeology."
