Head Shmelova Liudmyla V., Кандидат фізико-математичних наук Registration Date 13-01-2025 Organization Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv popup.description1 Design of a new sensor chip for the detection of biorecognition events by surface plasmon resonance (SPR). popup.description2 The relevance of the work lies in conducting a set of studies aimed at creating the most flexible algorithm for modeling the sensor effect in a wide range of applications for both civilian, in particular medical, and defense purposes. Purpose of the work: Design (construction) of a new sensor chip for detecting biorecognition events using the surface plasmon resonance (SPR) method. The scientific work of the Ukrainian side is devoted to the development of a mathematical basis for creating cost-effective new optical sensors for studying biological recognition events, namely, obtaining new knowledge about the studied condensed environments of organic and inorganic origin for predicting their physical properties, useful in the creation and application of sensors and biosensors on plasmon resonance. Main tasks of the reporting period 1. Study of the possibility of physical and mathematical modeling of sensors based on aqueous mixtures of the analyte; in particular, clarifying the influence of laser and thermal heating on the resonance readings (wavelength, angle of incidence) of an optical sensor with an aqueous analyte. 2. Based on the theory of specific conductivity of DNA, RNA and proteins, establishing the dependence of their complex dielectric permittivity on the characteristics of molecules that can affect the sensor readings: resonant wavelength and resonant angle of incidence. 3. For sensors based on aqueous mixtures of the analyte; clarifying the influence of the physical characteristics of impurities on the resonant readings of the sensor. The central idea is based on conducting a complex of studies related, on the one hand, to the modeling of a number of physical conditions that will contribute to the improvement of the characteristics of optical sensors, and, on the other hand, to the modeling of processes associated with their applications.  Product Description popup.authors Veremeichyk Taras V.
