The purpose of the research is to assess the infiltration processes in the soil layer, including outside the root system using information technologies under irrigation conditions, to develop an Analytical Note "Assessment of water infiltration under irrigation conditions using information technologies". Research methods: 1) field - installation of automatic remote monitoring stations, soil sampling for laboratory analysis; 2) visual - to identify phenological changes in agricultural plants; 3) literature analysis - to establish the current state of knowledge of the issue of infiltration research in soils; 4) laboratory - to determine the granulometric composition of soils; 5) mathematical and statistical - data processing to assess infiltration. In section 1, an analysis of literature sources on infiltration research methods was conducted, which showed that infiltration is studied using lysimeters, mathematical modeling and, in a limited number of studies, using information technologies. In section 2, the planning of the field experiment is described - the selection of research sites, soil types, and crops was carried out. In section 3, the water-physical properties of the soils of the research sites are established and the results of remote monitoring of the microclimate and soil moisture dynamics of the research sites are presented. In section 4, an assessment of infiltration in the soils of the research sites is carried out according to remote monitoring of the microclimate and soil moisture dynamics and an Analytical Note “Assessment of water infiltration under irrigation conditions using information technologies” is compiled. The Analytical Note “Assessment of water infiltration under irrigation conditions using information technologies” is an appendix to the report.
