Purpose - to provide an assessment of the state of protection of critical infrastructure facilities and to develop a method for determining the levels that characterise their security. Research methods: analytical, expert evaluation, statistical method, sensitivity analysis, qualitative analysis. The objective of the study was to develop a draft Procedure (methodology) for assessing the security of critical infrastructure facilities, taking into account new threats caused by today's realities, based on analytical studies of the requirements of national and foreign regulatory documents and other sources of information on existing assessments of the security levels of critical infrastructure facilities. The results of scientific research should create prerequisites for the adoption of assessments of the security levels of critical infrastructure facilities, as well as methods for determining the levels that characterise their security. To achieve this goal, the author analyses the domestic and foreign regulatory framework regarding the list of criteria for assessing the security of critical infrastructure and existing methods for assessing the security of infrastructure; determines the list of criteria for assessing the security of critical infrastructure; substantiates the list of indicators and their criteria for assessing the security of critical infrastructure; a draft Procedure (methodology) for determining the state of security of critical infrastructure facilities was developed.
