Registration Date 13-01-2025 Organization Institute of Electrophysics and Radiation Technologies of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine popup.description1 Creation of a software and hardware base based on remote means of radiation temperature measurement for screening assessment of the condition of equipment, communications and structures of the technical water supply system at the Zaporizhzhya NPP and for determining the adsorption capacity of filter materials during input control, before installation on ventilation systems and assessing their condition after a long shutdown reactor Creation of a laboratory with a complex of equipment for rapid analysis of samples of carbon materials used as adsorbents in air filters to remove gaseous and aerosol radioactive toxic substances, in particular, such as methyl iodide, in the ventilation system of the reactor room. Development of a technical rationale for the selection of an instrument and methodological base for implementation in the system of monitoring thermal radiation fields of the soil surface, equipment, communication of technical water supply systems after the resumption of NPP operation. popup.description2  A database of reference thermograms of equipment for providing technical water to responsible consumers of the ZNPP under normal operation conditions before military invasion has been developed. A number of features of defect formation and deformation in structural materials and in zirconia under irradiation have been studied to predict the behavior of nuclear fuel cladding. Methods for determining the sorption capacity of carbon filter materials for cleaning gas emissions from NPPs have been developed. Features of the feasibility study for implementing infrared radiometry methods at NPPs have been studied. Methods and models for predicting the behavior of nuclear installation materials under the influence of extreme external factors have been developed. The work carried out takes into account a number of destructive processes caused by the occupation of the ZNPP: long-term cold shutdown of the units, the undermining of the Kakhovka HPP, the destruction of the principles of safety culture at the NPP, irregular operation of hydraulic structures, pumping equipment, communications, the spent fuel aging pool, and the control system for the cleaning of emissions from radioactive substances. The results obtained will be used for the earliest possible restoration of the safe operation of the ZNPP after deoccupation and a substantiated assessment of the damage caused by the occupier. A prototype of a device for conducting thermographic control and a number of specialized software packages for processing thermographic data and modeling radiation growth have been created.
